About this piece
A one-of-a-kind piece with a story: the black basalt nuggets of this necklace were collected in the Palatinate and hammered by hand in Idar-Oberstein rather than cut and polished. This way, each nugget keeps its rough, matt surface. Around Deidesheim, basalt has always shaped the soils of the great vineyard sites: the dark volcanic rock stores the warmth of the sun and releases it to the vines at night.The nuggets are individually knotted. The 18k white gold box clasp was handcrafted in our workshop in Deidesheim, its shape modelled on the basalt nuggets. It blends into the line of the necklace while adding a fine, bright accent.
We work exclusively with reclaimed precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum.

We ship insured with UPS Express Saver. Delivery for this item takes 1 to 2 working days. Every piece is checked before shipping and packed in our jewellery box.
Collection from our workshop at Marktplatz 6 in Deidesheim is possible during opening hours, no appointment needed.
Returns
Jewellery can be returned within 14 days, an email to info@goldschmiede-krack.de is enough. Returns are shipped insured with UPS: we send a label to print out, and UPS collects the parcel.
